BK PROS was created from real-world QuickBooks experience.
My name is Cris, founder of BK PROS. After working directly with QuickBooks users and seeing the bookkeeping challenges business owners face every day, I realized that many businesses don’t simply need someone to categorize transactions — they need someone who knows how to identify why their books don’t make sense and how to fix them.
I worked with business owners whose QuickBooks income was significantly higher than their actual income, bank accounts filled with duplicate transactions, previously reconciled periods showing new discrepancies, Undeposited Funds and Unapplied Cash Payment balances that shouldn’t be there, and Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records that no longer reflected reality.
These problems became especially stressful during tax season. Business owners would discover that their books weren’t ready for their CPA, and in an attempt to fix things quickly, some would start deleting transactions — sometimes creating even more problems.
That’s why I created BK PROS.
We specialize in QuickBooks Online setup, cleanup, monthly bookkeeping, and personalized QuickBooks support, with a particular focus on finding the problems behind inaccurate balances and financial reports.
For me, bookkeeping isn’t simply entering transactions. There is genuine satisfaction in taking a complicated QuickBooks file, tracing the activity month by month, reconciling the debits and credits to the bank statements, correcting the underlying issues, and seeing the numbers finally match.
